1- Store Information: Store name, domain, email address, Shopify plan, and locale settings.

2- Customer Data: Name, email, local time, order history, and past interactions (used to power contextual conversations).

3- Product & Order Data: Catalog details, order statuses, collections, and inventory—used to respond to customer queries and optimize recommendations.

4- Chat Interactions: All messages between users and the AI (or human agents), including feedback, to improve conversation quality.

5- App Usage Data: Logs, metadata, and event tracking for analytics and performance optimization.

We only share data with third-party services necessary to run Convi, such as:

  • Shopify (embedded app and customer data access)

  • OpenAI or other AI models(chat model provider)

  • Optional integrations like Klaviyo, Zendesk, Gorgias, or Zapier—only when connected by the merchant

All third-party services are bound by strict confidentiality and data security agreements.

4. Data Retention

We retain customer interaction data for as long as needed to:

  • Provide support and chat history

  • Train and optimize Convi’s AI models

  • Comply with legal and contractual obligations

You can request deletion of your data by contacting us
