The store
Ariat México is the Mexican storefront of the global performance footwear and apparel brand, running on Shopify Plus. It serves consumers directly and supports an authorised distributor network alongside the retail channel.
Western, work and equestrian boots, safety footwear, denim, shirts, jackets, kids' ranges and accessories — sold to consumers and through an authorised dealer network.
The customer questions
Fit is the whole problem. Their own FAQ carries seven distinct sizing questions — lace-up boots, paddock boots, pull-on boots, tall riding boots and chap measurements each need different guidance, and getting it wrong means an exchange rather than a sale. Alongside that sit questions about boot care and waterproofing, discontinued styles, and a recurring authenticity concern serious enough that the FAQ addresses counterfeits directly. In the conversation data, product and catalogue questions are the largest single category at 338, with orders and checkout close behind at 254.
Recorded topic counts to 25 August 2026. A conversation may have more than one topic; this is not a mutually exclusive breakdown.
Why the question mix fits
Two categories dominate, and they need different capabilities. Answering “which size am I in this style” means reading the catalogue; answering “where is my order” or “can I cancel” means reading the order. A tool that did only the first would have left more than half the volume untouched.
This is Convi’s interpretation of the measured question mix and the store’s published information. It is not an account of the merchant’s internal decision-making.

The measured results
Of 888 conversations, 92.2% closed without a human handover. The mix confirms the store's own FAQ: product and catalogue questions led at 338 conversations, orders and checkout followed at 254, and returns and refunds accounted for 118. Orders including assistant-surfaced products totalled MX$79,397 — the largest attributed figure of the six stores here. 96% of shopper messages were in Spanish.

The next area of focus
Sizing remains the highest-volume topic, so fit guidance is where the knowledge base keeps being deepened.
Measured from Convi production data to 25 August 2026. Active stores with at least 50 conversations; internal test shops and sandbox traffic excluded. “Resolved without a handover” means the conversation closed without escalation to a human agent. Order attribution is assisted attribution — Convi is credited with influencing the order, not with being its sole cause.
This story uses historical data measured to 25 August 2026. It is a Convi analysis, not a merchant testimonial. A conversation closing without handover does not independently establish customer satisfaction.
